Dr. Alok Tripathi is among the most prominent police administrators in Rajasthan. Few can match his professional caliber, integrity and dedication to policing and administration. He is a decorated IPS officer of the 1986 batch, Rajasthan Cadre. After Completing MBBS in 1984, he joined the IPS in 1986.
During his initial posting as ASP, Sriganganagar, he was closely associated with counter-terrorism operations. His active contribution in successful handling of many such operations won him the accolades of his colleagues and superiors alike. He subsequently worked as Superintendent of Police (SP) in nine districts of Rajasthan, gaining wide range experience in almost all aspects of policing and internal security.
During his posting as Dy. Inspector General of Police (DIG) Range, Udaipur during 2002-03, Dr. Tripathi’s experience as a seasoned police officer was instrumental in ensuring communal harmony and peace in these regions. He worked as IG Police in various branches such as Police Telecommunication, Planning and Welfare, Crime Branch, Vigilance, Intelligence, ATS & SOG and Intelligence. Subsequently, he worked as ADGP, RAC, Anti-Terrorist Squad and Special Operations Group and Anti-Corruption Bureau. During his tenure as Director General of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, (ACB), Rajasthan received second all India ranking in counteracting corruption.
Dr. Tripathi also participated in some prestigious training programs including the ATA 11437/Police Chief's Conference/Counter-Terrorism Co-operation Conference/Advances of Latest Techniques in Forensic Investigation, etc. He also participated in the Senior Crisis Management Seminar of the Homeland Security Department, Washington D.C., USA in January 2016. Dr. Tripathi also represented Indian delegation under leadership of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) to curb trans-border smuggling of drugs during dialogue with Pakistan. He was invited as Resource Person to share his expertise with the Election Commission of India during 2013-14 for Election Expenditure Monitoring.
For his commendable dedication and commitment to duty, Dr. Alok Tripathi was awarded the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2002 and the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Services in 2012. After his superannuation, Dr. Tripathi is currently serving as Vice-Chancellor, Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur since 14th of October 2020. As a dynamic leader, he inspires many minds. His vision for the University is to focus on research and capacity building of law enforcement agencies.
Shri Bhupendra Sahu is a 1999 Batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He serves as the Additional Director General of Police (Civil Rights and Anti-Human Trafficking) in Rajasthan, Jaipur. In his current role, he is responsible for supervising the investigation of crimes against women, children, and weaker sections of society in the state, as well as facilitating awareness of these issues.
Throughout his career, Shri Sahu has successfully held various positions, including roles in police ranges, district units, armed battalions and the State Crime Record Bureau, cybercrime units across Rajasthan. He has acquired in-depth knowledge of police administration, crime investigation, and maintaining law and order.
Mr. Himanshu Sharma is the Administrative Officer and Drawing & Disbursing Officer of the Centre for Child Protection, SPUP Jodhpur. He has been serving as Private Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor at Sardar Patel Police University, Jodhpur since January, 2014. Besides this, he is also functioning as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Institute of Forensic Science as well as Administrative Officer and DDO of all professional Centres of the University.
Mr. Sharma has also held additional charge of the post of Estate Officer of the Main campus in Jodhpur and the Satellite campus in Jaipur. Mr. Sharma has rich experience of about 10 years in academic administration and has worked with some of the premier institutes of the country such as Indian School of Business(ISB) Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur in different areas like corporate relation, Academic and student affairs, administration, etc.
Mr. Sharma holds the MBA degree in International Business and Marketing from Amity University, NOIDA and presently persuing Ph.D. from Manipal University, Jaipur.
Mr. Praveen Singh is an academician and course development expert with more than 07 years of experience in the area of Social work and Economics focusing on Child Protection, Human rights, Field work, community Development. He has joined the Centre for Child Protection, Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice from April, 2015 and he is responsible for academics and course development on various aspects of Child Protection. In the past he has served HelpAge India, IIRD, Eternal University and NIMS University. He has completed M.A. & M.Phil. Degree in Economics and MSW from the Himachal Pradesh University. He holds the membership of various National Associations like NAPSWI, ISPSW, IGA, Member of Research Paper Review Board in IJRE and is also actively participating in various seminars and conferences and has published 21 research papers in national and international journals, edited books and periodicals.
Mr. Bimal Kumar Samantaray is a development professional with more than 10 years of work experience in the field of human rights focusing on Child Protection, Youth Empowerment and Community Development. He has completed a master degree in Social Work from Utkal University Odisha and awarded as the best volunteer by National Service Scheme (NSS) and UNDP. He started his career at Ruchika Social service Org., Bhubaneswar and later he associated with Childline India Foundation, Kolkata, Aided Action, International Justice Mission (project), Jharkhand. Since 2014, he has worked as a Child Protection Consultant for Dept. Of Women and Child Development, Jharkhand, Crime Investigation Department, Chhattisgarh Police and Chhattisgarh SCPCR by UNICEF. He possesses expertise on data compilation, capacity building, project management, monitoring and evaluation, developing training modules, IEC, etc. Bimal joined CCP-SPSU in February 2019 as offline and online course consultant.
Dr. Rishamjot Kaur is an experienced professional holding 12 years of diverse experience of working in Public Health, Child Rights law, Education and Social Development Sector.She is Bachelors in Dental Science (B.D.S) from Guru Nanak Dev Dental College and Research Institute, Sunam; Masters in Health Sciences Public Health (M.H.Sc-PH) - Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu and a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Rights Law (P.G.D.C.R.L) from National Law School India University, Bangalore. With qualifications & distinctions in diverse field of Medicine and Law, her rich experience includes working with both government and private sector with esteemed organizations like National Health Mission- Govt. of
Rajasthan, UNICEF, Aid –et- action etc.
Her expertise lies in capacity building and handholding of concerned stakeholders to understand the legal procedures & demonstrated specialist expertise in the field of child rights. Her past work concentrated around bringing awareness regarding maternal and child health care, gender bias, mental health, developing health modules emphasizing on Oral health, HIV and related issues. She has successfully navigated the fields of policy implementation & demonstrated specialist skills in project
building/ running, including designing and implementing competency-based capacity building training programs in district & state.
She has been actively participating as a volunteer Speaker in social awareness programs like Beti Bachao Andolan, DAP (Daughters are Precious) held at various point of times in prestigious schools and
institutes. She has been recognized for her work in Health field & accorded certificates of Distinction by District administration, Jodhpur.
Mr. Fahim has earned two Post-graduation degrees in Social Work in Community Development and Child & Family Welfare and Two-Year Post diploma course on Human Rights. He has 09 years of experience in various roles including Partnership Management, Implementation, Monitoring & Evaluation and Advocacy with strong experiential and theoretical grounding in Youth and Adolescent development, Child Rights, Education and Health issues. He has worked with street and working children, initially. In the project he had worked with Different govt dept and statutory bodies constituted under ‘The J.J Act, like CWC , JJB, (CCI) and most importantly dept. of Social welfare (later it was separated as Dept. of women and child) and dept. of labour and has intensive working experience in districts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Delhi & Uttar Pradesh and done several presentations at both national and international platforms.
